Colorado Buffaloes Halloween Helmets
Colorado Buffaloes Halloween helmets take us high into the Rocky Mountains, where black-and-gold football tradition meets moonlit peaks, glowing pumpkins and a buffalo that looks considerably more intimidating after the sun disappears.
Colorado gives the Sovereign Vault plenty to work with. The mountains provide a dramatic backdrop, the Buffaloes bring one of college football's most recognizable animals, and CU's black-and-gold palette slides naturally into the darker atmosphere of Halloween.
There are 9 different Colorado concepts sealed below. Buffaloes, skulls, haunted structures, pumpkins and eerie Rocky Mountain landscapes all find their way onto the helmets — but every design keeps Colorado football at the center of the artwork.
Halloween Comes to the Rocky Mountains
Colorado's landscape gives these helmets something completely different from the teams we've already opened inside the Vault.
Jagged mountain silhouettes rise behind glowing moons. Orange Halloween light cuts through the black-and-gold palette. Dark forests and isolated structures turn familiar Colorado scenery into the sort of place you'd think twice about wandering through after midnight.
And because the mountains are so closely associated with Colorado, the designs can become heavily atmospheric without losing their connection to the school.
When the Buffaloes Come Out After Dark
Of course, there's one presence that dominates this collection: the buffalo.
Some designs make the animal the centerpiece, turning it into a huge shadowy figure emerging from the Rockies. Others weave buffalo imagery into mountain scenes, Halloween landscapes and darker interpretations of Colorado's familiar football identity.
The collection also ventures into old bones, eerie buildings, glowing pumpkins and other pieces of Halloween imagery, giving each of the nine helmets its own personality rather than repeating the same concept.
Inspect all nine numbered helmets individually. Look for different combinations of buffalo imagery, mountain landscapes, pumpkins, skulls, haunted structures and Colorado's black-and-gold identity hidden throughout the collection.

Pick your favorite by number. Maybe it's one of the buffalo-heavy designs. Perhaps you prefer the mountain concepts, the skull, the haunted architecture or the helmets that look almost realistic enough to imagine Colorado wearing them beneath the lights in October.
