Liberty Flames Steampunk Concept Helmets
Twelve imaginative Liberty football helmets forged from Flames pride, navy blue, crimson red, polished brass, roaring fire and the extraordinary machinery of the Victorian age.
Flames Football Meets the Age of Steam
Imagine Liberty Flames football entering an extraordinary world of steam-powered machinery, glowing furnaces, copper pipes and elaborate Victorian craftsmanship. In this collection of twelve alternate concept helmets, Liberty's unmistakable navy blue, red and white identity is reimagined through intricate brass gears, engraved metalwork and brilliant mechanical flames.
The Classic Flame leads the collection with Liberty's familiar LU identity, while Flame Fury adds a fierce mechanical interpretation of the Flames' imagery. Flame Script features elegant lettering surrounded by golden clockwork, and Flame Prowl introduces a striking bird-inspired design with sweeping metallic feathers.
Mountain Faith celebrates the university's Lynchburg setting through a dramatic architectural scene. Flames Nation brings the LU emblem into a heavily engineered brass design, while Fire Within turns the helmet into a miniature furnace with a glowing central flame. Torch Tradition celebrates the symbolism of the torch, surrounded by the gears and metalwork of an imaginary nineteenth-century workshop.
The final four helmets carry the theme even further. Wings of Liberty introduces elaborate metallic wings, Faith & Freedom pairs a traditional bell with industrial detailing, and Steam & Speed imagines the Flames powered by a roaring mechanical engine. Victorious completes the collection with a bold LU emblem set against a brilliant field of brass gears. Together, these designs offer an imaginative tribute to Liberty football in a world powered by steam and fire.
