Twelve imaginative Maryland football helmet designs forged from Terrapin pride, the iconic Maryland flag, red, black, white and gold, intricate brass clockwork and the machinery of a fictional Victorian age.
Terrapin Pride Meets the Age of Steam
Imagine Maryland football transported into a world of steam-powered machinery, intricate brass gears, mechanical creatures and glowing Victorian workshops. These twelve imaginative concept helmets celebrate the Terrapins by transforming Maryland's unmistakable red, black, white and gold identity into a spectacular collection of industrial craftsmanship and clockwork artistry.
The M opens the collection with Maryland's recognizable lettermark surrounded by intricate brass machinery and flag-inspired patterns. The Terrapin transforms the university's turtle mascot into an elaborate mechanical design, while The Flag celebrates the state's famous heraldic colors and patterns. The Harbor introduces a distinctive Maryland waterfront scene into the steam-powered world.
Testudo features a detailed turtle-shell pattern rendered in rich red and brass, while The Stripes combines Maryland's signature colors in bold vertical bands. Engineered to Win adds a powerful industrial twist to the Terrapins' traditional identity, and Steam Ahead features an elaborate steam engine rising from the helmet's mechanical surroundings.
The final four designs celebrate the university and the state it represents. On the Shore captures the atmosphere of Maryland's waterfront, while Terp Pride pairs the iconic M with industrial detailing and metallic accents. Shell Power transforms the terrapin shell into a glowing network of mechanical armor, and Maryland Tough closes the collection with the state's unmistakable flag pattern and hard-edged brass engineering.
Together, these twelve imaginary helmets offer a creative tribute to Maryland football—where Terrapin determination, state pride and the extraordinary machinery of the steam age come together in red, black, white and gold.
