The Moment That Launched a Campaign
Donald Trump's June 16, 2015 announcement at Trump Tower marked the beginning of a presidential campaign that would reshape American politics.
Accompanied by Melania Trump, he descended the building's escalator before addressing supporters and journalists. His speech emphasized immigration, trade, and the slogan Make America Great Again.
Trump subsequently won the Republican nomination and the 2016 presidential election, becoming the 45th president of the United States.
Our Golden Descent card imagines three miniature symbolic artifacts inspired by that day: an escalator fragment, a red tie fabric fragment, and a marble fragment. Their full descriptions are available through the gold reading button above.
This card and all three relic fragments are fictional concept artwork. They are not genuine historical artifacts, authenticated memorabilia, manufactured collectibles, or items offered for sale.
